Reversi dates back to the 1880s and is famous for being simple to learn and hard to master. The score can swing wildly right up to the last disc, so no game is over until the board is full.
How to play
- White moves first. Dots show every legal move.
- Place a disc so that a straight line of rival discs is trapped between it and another of yours.
- All trapped discs flip to your colour, in every direction.
- If you have no legal move, your turn passes.
- When neither side can move, the player with the most discs wins.

Tips
Corners can never be flipped, so fight for them, and avoid the squares right next to an empty corner. Having fewer discs mid-game is often a strength.
