Dots and Boxes has filled the back pages of school notebooks for over a century. It looks childlike, but the late game is a real puzzle, as one careless line can hand over a whole chain of boxes.
How to play
- Take turns drawing one line between two neighbouring dots.
- Draw the fourth side of a box to claim it.
- Claiming a box gives you another turn.
- When every box is claimed, the player with the most wins.
Controls
Tap or click between two dots.
Tips
Avoid drawing the third side of a box whenever you can. When you have to give something away, give the shortest chain.
